Maestra Alma

Passionate Daycare Owner, Preschool Teacher, and Author

Alma has always been passionate about early childhood education. After graduating from San Jose State University with a degree in Psychology and over 10 years of working in the traditional educational system, she decided to make a big move and open her own daycare.

"I love working with children and teaching them about art simultaneously,” says Alma. She believes that practicing different forms of arts is one of the most crucial and powerful tools to discover children's talents and passions early on. This is one of the main focuses of her daycare center. Not only that. She believes that children struggle to develop much-needed confidence early because of a lack of self-expression. Practicing arts is one of the great ways to do it. She also believes in and praises all children’s artwork because it is a masterpiece that contributes greatly to better early education for all children. Just recently, Alma discovered her new passion for writing and book publishing - an opportunity to share her passion and knowledge with children and parents worldwide, so even those who can’t reach her can learn from her. Assistant Teacher

She speaks Spanish and English. She is Pediatric First Aid and CPR Certified and has been working with children for 6 years now. She is trained to work with premature infants and infants in general and she has a love for working with children. She is the chef behind the delicious food we serve and the food you smell during morning drop-offs. She is currently attending school for more Early Childhood Education units and certifications.

Maestra Elizabeth

She is our substitute teacher. She is bilingual and she is Pediatric First Aid and CPR Certified. She has a background working in the medical field and assists us at times at our daycare as a substitute teacher. All of our children know and love being around her.
